So what is it all about?
If your new to the GDPR, here’s a bit of background , the General Data Proctection Regulation is a new law that regulates how the personal data of EU citizens can be collected, used and processed by businesses.
It takes effect on the 25th May 2018, and while it is being implemented by the European Union, it applies not only to organizations based in the EU, but also to those that have customers and contacts in the EU.
So it’s going to have an impact on businesses all around the world.
We want all our clients to understand exactly what data is being collected by us and how it will be used.
We want to assure you that we will be fully GDPR compliant.
This means that your personal information (email address on occassion, property address and phone number) will only be shared with our Surveyor and internal staff, who have signed an agreement with ourselves not to share your information with any 3rd parties.
You can opt out at anytime
To further comply with the new GDPR, you have the choice of opting out of receiving emails at any time.
You will then receive an email to confirm you have successfully unsubscribed from the list.
Our Database
If you are a customer, client or supplier of ours, we will hold your information on our internal email system and surveying database.
Our IT provider is fully GDPR compliant and our email system is now also fully GDPR compliant along with our database software provider.
Our website
Our website is running a secure SSL, which means the interaction between the visitor and the website is in a secure encrypted tunnel and cannot be overseen by other devices or persons.
This SSL also ensures the visitor that they are actually on your website and not a clone website.
Our website privacy policy has also been updated.
We can assure you we are doing all we can to ensure compliance with this new EU regulation.
